Dr. Paul MarcianoPaul T. Marciano, D.P.M., M.S.
Dr. Paul Marciano D.P.M. is a graduate from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Biology. He has a masters in Natural Science from Roswell Park Cancer Institute at the State University of Buffalo. He also graduated from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Marciano then completed a two year surgical residency in reconstructive foot surgery in Houston, Texas and has since been practicing in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. One of the first practitioners to utilize the Shock Wave Therapy Treatment for heel pain. Dr. Marciano is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery, the American Board of Medical Specialists in Podiatry and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry & Podiatric Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and serves as a member of both the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations.

Maribel Henao, D.P.M., MSPT
Dr. Maribel Henao, D.P.M., MSPT graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Working as a physical therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, she completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She then completed her three year foot and ankle surgical residency at South Miami Hospital in Miami, Florida, training with numerous podiatrists specializing in different areas of podiatric medicine and surgery. During her training, she specialized in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as wound care and diabetic limb preservation surgery. She is associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Henao joined the family at Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists and treats all areas of foot and ankle care.  Having a medical background in physical therapy and being bilingual in english and spanish, she focuses on patient education and communication, and knows that complete recovery is a team effort between the patient, doctors, and other specialists.

Dr. Greg AmelungGregory J. Amelung,D.P.M
Dr Greg Amelung, D.P.M. began his education at Texas A&M University and completed his Bachelor of Science and doctorate degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. He completed a one year medical internship at North Chicago Veteran's Administration Hospital followed by a two year surgical residency with the Resurrection Health Care Hospital System in Chicago, Ill. Dr Amelung completed his training with a one year fellowship at Central Oklahoma Foot and Ankle Centers associated with the Oklahoma Podiatric Residency Training Program, specializing in complicated reconstructive and traumatic surgery of the foot and ankle. Following his fellowship, he continued on as a surgical teaching attending at the residency program for two years. Looking for new opportunities, he joined Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists where he practices all aspects of foot and ankle care. Dr Amelung believes that his extensive training will help provide many treatment options for all his patients. He believes that patient education and good communication is the key for successful care. Dr. Amelung is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Kennedy LegelKennedy Legel, D.P.M.
Dr. Kennedy Legel, D.P.M. graduated from suburban Florida Atlantic University achieving a B.S. in Biology with a major in Biotechnology and its related field of gene therapy. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then went on to complete a rigorous three year foot and ankle surgical residency program in Miami, Florida under the direction of one of the nation's leading researchers in the field of podiatric wound care. His training focused on both preventative and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as diabetic limb preservation surgery. During his residency he was also actively involved in humanitarian missions treating children abroad with the Yucatan Crippled Children's Project of Mexico. He is a an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Legel joined Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists and is looking forward to building his practice with a community based approach focusing on patient education and understanding. Dr. Legel and his family recently relocated to Keller from the South Florida area. His interests include spending time with his growing family as well as fishing, football, and golf.

Joseph Yeargain, D.P.M.

Joseph Yeargain, DPM is a native Texan who attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies and then continued onto Barry University in Miami Florida to complete his docotorate in Podiatric Medicine.  He then completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with a strong focus in Sports Medicine, Trauma, and Foot and Ankle reconstruction.  A lifelong athlete and avid sports fan, he enjoys working with athletes of all levels in recovering from their sports related injuries and getting back on the field.  He is a an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Yeargain is excited to provide comprehensive care for his patients.  He is happy to be back in his home state and believes that healthy feet lead to a happy life.
