Paul T. Marciano, D.P.M., M.S.
Dr. Paul Marciano, D.P.M. is a graduate from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Biology. He has a masters in Natural Science from Roswell Park Cancer Institute at the State University of Buffalo. He also graduated from the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Marciano then completed a two year surgical residency in reconstructive foot surgery in Houston, Texas and has since been practicing in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. One of the first practitioners to utilize the Shock Wave Therapy Treatment for heel pain. Dr. Marciano is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot Surgery, the American Board of Medical Specialists in Podiatry and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry & Podiatric Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and serves as a member of both the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer, basketball and golf.
Gregory J. Amelung, D.P.M.
Dr. Greg Amelung, D.P.M. began his education at Texas A&M University and completed his Bachelor of Science and doctorate degree at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. He completed a one year medical internship at North Chicago Veteran's Administration Hospital followed by a two year surgical residency with the Resurrection Health Care Hospital System in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Amelung completed his training with a one year fellowship at Central Oklahoma Foot and Ankle Centers associated with the Oklahoma Podiatric Residency Training Program, specializing in complicated reconstructive and traumatic surgery of the foot and ankle. Following his fellowship, he continued on as a surgical teaching attending at the residency program for two years. Looking for new opportunities, he joined Academy Foot and Ankle Specialists where he practices all aspects of foot and ankle care. Dr. Amelung believes that his extensive training will help provide many treatment options for all his patients. He believes that patient education and good communication is the key for successful care. Dr. Amelung is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Larissa P. Rolim, D.P.M.,M.S.
Dr. Rolim was born in Brazil and grew up in South Florida . She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Florida International University. She continued her studies at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, where she received both Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Master’s in Biomedical Sciences degrees. Having excelled in the clinical performance, she was recognized with the excellence in Clinical Science award for her graduating class. She completed her postgraduate training at South Miami Hospital an affiliate of the Baptist Cardiovascular Institute, in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, where she served as Co-Chief Resident.She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and currently serves as a peer editor for the Foot and Ankle Online Journal. She has volunteered for the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project in Merida, Mexico treating children with complex structural deformities of the foot and ankle.She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and French. She is a classically trained Violinist and Soprano. She is married and in her free time she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, running, playing her violin and spending time with her family.
Joel B. Dacus, D.P.M., BSC.
Dr. Joel Dacus is a graduate of University Nevada Reno with a BSc in health education and pre med. He achieved his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. His post doctorate residency was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also trained at the Seattle VA Hospital, Seattle Washington. Dr Dacus brings over 20 years of surgical and private practice experience to his patients and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Specialty training includes advanced laser medicine and pedorthics (specialty orthotics and shoes). He has traveled to over 70 countries worldwide having consulted in podiatric medical & diagnostic roles in developing countries for over 5 years. Dr Dacus is happily married with three children; he makes his home in here in North Texas. A favorite past time he enjoys is flying his airplane over the lakes of North Texas with his wife.
Brady R. Mallory, D.P.M.
Dr. Mallory is originally from Idaho and a graduate from Utah State University. He obtained his B.A. in arts and science with a minor in Spanish which he fluently speaks. He graduated top of his class from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland which has since been acquired by Kent State University. He then completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. His training emphasis includes; reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, forefoot surgery, trauma and diabetic wound care. While in residency he published award winning research focused on advanced surgical techniques for limb salvage in those with severe lower extremity deformities. He also researched the usefulness of inflammatory markers in diabetic foot infections. He recently relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to start the next step in his career and looks forward to treating patients with any foot and ankle problem. Dr. Mallory strives to provide exceptional care to all of his patients and believes that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to do so.He is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and serves as a member of both the American and Texas Podiatric Medical Associations. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and twins. He also enjoys playing guitar, golfing and generally anything to do with the outdoors.
Philip Parr, DPM, MS
Philip Parr, DPM, MS is originally from Cherokee, Oklahoma. After graduating as valedictorian from Cherokee High School, he began his education at Oklahoma State University, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. At Oklahoma State Dr. Parr developed a strong interest in sports medicine, working closely with the athletic training department and the team physicians for OSU Athletics. He was named a Top Ten Senior in his college at OSU and subsequently matriculated into Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa where he achieved his Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago where he acquired his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree, serving as class president during his time in Chicago. Dr. Parr then completed an intensive 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. During his time in residency, Dr. Parr also completed additional dermatopathology training at Bako Labs in Alpharetta, Georgia. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, following college football, as well as multiple outdoor hobbies.
Dr. Masoud Moradi, DPM, FAAPSM
Dr. Moradi is a podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in podiatric sports medicine, pediatrics and wound management. Dr. Moradi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from The University of Texas in Arlington prior to attending podiatry school in Miami. He then graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores Florida with the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and was also awarded the Outstanding Biomechanics and Orthopedics award. Dr. Moradi completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgical residency program with rearfoot and ankle credentials at Mercy Hospital in Miami Florida. He also completed a one year post residency fellowship training in podiatric sports medicine and surgery in Miami, Florida affiliated with the Miami Heat NBA professional basketball team, University of Miami and Barry University intercollegiate athletics department. Dr. Moradi was part of the medical staff with the Miami Heat basketball team in 2013 championship team. Dr Moradi went on to complete another fellowship focusing on wound management, clinical research and diabetic limb salvage in Miami Florida. In his spare time Dr. Moradi enjoys running, playing soccer, bicycle riding, traveling and spending time with his family.
